How to hire the band Freespirit
If you have no time to read below, simply give us a call on +44 (0) 7930 415 185 (UK) or go straight to our contact form.
1. Browse through our site - view our photo gallery, our CV, our clients comments, listen to our music files. If it is not easy for you to listen to music files from the internet, ask us below for a promo package including CD demo.
2. Fill out our Info & Booking form (short)
to request more information or enquire about our availability. This does not engage you or us into any contractual agreement.3. We will check our availability and answer your questions. Your requirements can be discussed via tel or email as is convenient to you.
4. Should you decide to hire the band, we will forward a copy of our standard contract amended to your specification which you will be asked to kindly verify and return along with a 30% deposit. This will permit us to reserve the date(s) for you in our calendar.
6. You can of course contact us at any time to discuss any further need prior to D day.
Fees:
We will discuss which of our three different line-up options would be the most adapted to your event and budget:
Freespirit Light, Lush or Loaded.
Each option of Freespirit with 4-7 and up to 10 musicians. In any of these options the band members are the same. The difference is in the equipment around the band. From a very simple and compact equipment to a full production including sound and lighting engineers and crew.
The fee in London goes form £1200 for Freespirit Light at 4 musicians to several thousands for a large production.
We will give you a final quote or if we need to involve other suppliers or artists, within 48 hours.
Discounts:
Every year we offer one free gig to a charity that we are happy to support.Performance time:
Our quote is for up to 2 hours of live music and 6 hours on site. This is usually ideal in 95% of our bookings, however, other arrangements are possible so please ask.
Between the sets:
On request we are able to play CD compilations (included in our fee) or hire a professional DJ.
By 'playing compilations' we mean that we put on CDs in the CD player to maintain the ambiance.
A pro DJ/Disco is recommended especially when the party/event is due to finish late. We regularly hire the best Discos/DJs in the UK and are used to working with them. Alternatively you are free to bring in your own DJ.Equipment:
Freespirit Light: 1000/1200 watts Mackie sound system and ambient stage lighting adequete for many functions of small to average size (up 200 guests). We can bring a compact system which fits within a small space for intimate private functions. On such occasions our drummer does not use full sized Drums but a 'mini-drum-kit' (Yamaha Hip-gig) - this of course is a professional drum-kit which sounds fantastic.
For larger events Freespirit Lush or Loaded are advised.
We are able to cater for indoor or outdoor events and audiences of a few people to several thousands.What you should be aware of:
It is a tradition to offer food and soft drinks to the band members and crew ( if applicable). We always request parking for the vehicles and a lockable changing room. 'Food' can be a hot meal or access to the buffet if any. If this is not possible we will need to be informed on signing the contract in order to be able to make arrangements.
It is important that the musicians be fed properly. It is important for us and also for you: the band needs to deliver a tasteful performance or/and an energetic show. Particularly after having traveled a long way, loaded, unloaded and set-up the equipment, they need proteins! Soft drinks are still and sparkling water, coca cola, coffee etc. The band members drink little or no alcohol.The overall terms and conditions will of course
be included in the contract which we will send you.
